Mission

The Waste Not Want Not Salvaging mission is to give discarded items a second life, reduce pollution and heighten awareness of how this can be done. We protect the environment by salvaging, repairing, reusing, and redistributing usable items that would otherwise be sent to landfill.

We provide waste-prevention services for businesses and the public, while also supporting economically disadvantaged individuals and families with access to essential goods and practical resources. Our work intersects environmental protection with human services, addressing needs related to housing stability, nutrition, disability support, and community well-being.

Through reuse, repair, and hands-on skills training, we promote resourcefulness, reduce neighborhood blight, and extend the useful life of materials. Our approach benefits both people and the environment by slowing resource depletion and strengthening local systems of care and support.
